Intellectual Property

1.0 Ownership of Deliverables
Upon receipt of full payment, the client will own the final website, code, and design files specifically created for the project, except as otherwise provided in this policy. Ownership does not extend to pre-existing materials, third-party components, or proprietary tools used in the development process. 1.1 Pre-Existing Materials and Agency Tools
Rock Pulse Web Solutions retains all rights to any pre-existing code, frameworks, libraries, templates, tools, or methodologies used in the development of the client’s website. The client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use these as part of the final deliverable, but may not resell, redistribute, or use them outside the scope of the delivered project. 1.2 Third-Party Components
Websites may incorporate third-party software, plugins, themes, or assets (such as WordPress plugins, WooCommerce extensions, or stock images). Ownership and licensing of these components are governed by their respective licenses. The client is responsible for maintaining valid licenses for any third-party components after project completion, and for any associated costs or renewals. 1.3 Client-Provided Materials
The client warrants that all content, images, logos, and other materials provided to Rock Pulse Web Solutions are owned by the client or that the client has obtained all necessary rights and permissions for their use. The client grants Rock Pulse Web Solutions a limited license to use these materials solely for the purpose of completing the project. The client is responsible for any legal claims arising from the use of unlicensed or infringing materials. 1.4 Portfolio and Marketing Rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Rock Pulse Web Solutions reserves the right to display completed projects, screenshots, and client logos in our portfolio, on our website, and in marketing materials for promotional purposes. Sensitive or confidential information will not be disclosed without the client’s consent. 1.5 Intellectual Property Infringement
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rock Pulse Web Solutions against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of client-provided materials that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. If a claim of infringement arises, the client will be responsible for all legal costs and damages.
