Accessibility Policy

1.0 Commitment to Accessibility
Rock Pulse Web Solutions is committed to designing and developing websites that are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards in all new website projects. 1.1 Design and Development Practices
To ensure accessibility, we implement the following best practices:
  • Use of semantic HTML and ARIA roles to provide clear structure and navigation.
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast and readable font sizes for users with visual impairments.
  • Providing alternative text for all images and non-text content.
  • Ensuring all interactive elements (such as forms, buttons, and menus) are keyboard accessible.
  • Avoiding reliance on color alone to convey information or meaning.
  • Providing captions or transcripts for audio and video content where feasible.

1.2 Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Accessibility is considered at every stage of the design and development process.
  • Automated and manual accessibility testing is conducted during development.
  • Identified accessibility issues are addressed prior to website launch, within the scope and budget defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

1.3 Client Content and Third-Party Integrations

  • The Client is responsible for providing accessible content, such as descriptive alt text for images and captions for videos.
  • Rock Pulse Web Solutions will provide guidance and recommendations for accessible content creation.
  • Third-party plugins, widgets, or embedded content may have accessibility limitations beyond the agency’s control. The agency will advise the Client of any known limitations.

1.4 Ongoing Accessibility

  • Accessibility is an ongoing process. Rock Pulse Web Solutions offers accessibility audits, remediation, and training as separate services.
  • Clients are encouraged to review and update their website content regularly to maintain accessibility standards.

1.5 Feedback and Contact

  • We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our websites and services. If you encounter accessibility barriers or require assistance, please contact us at [Contact Email].
  • We will make reasonable efforts to address accessibility concerns in a timely manner.

1.6 Policy Updates

  • This Accessibility Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in standards, technology, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website with the effective date.
